A young officer is assigned to a remote village in the Western Desert, only to discover that the village is cursed by a skull-shaped dome controlled by the mayor and, behind him, the witch Magda. The officer becomes involved in the internal conflicts between the families of the village and their problems with the mayor and the disappearance of the elders of the families for a period before they return and sell their land to the mayor! He also falls in love with Fardos, the mayor's daughter! Then the events go back in time to the era of Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah, the Fatimid dynasty, to find the presence of the witch Magda in that era, then the events go back to the era of the Pharaohs to learn the story of the dome and its mistress, the goddess Sekhmet, and her relationship with Magda until the events in the village end in the end, so that the lines intertwine with each other for different time periods.
